Coalfields Mechanical & Towing, previously KD Motorworx, is a locally owned and operated mechanical business that's owned by Chris Lancaster and his family. Chris has been a Blackwater resident since 1971 and is passionate about providing quality mechanical servicing for customers in the local area.

With a staff of 15 employees and growing, our team has a wide skillset. At CMT, we employ motor mechanics, diesel fitters, windscreen technicians, tilt tray operators and qualified administrative staff who all bring a wealth of knowledge to the business.

Our team provides repairs and servicing on most makes and models of cars, 4WDs, light trucks and earthmoving equipment. We also offer a convenient pick-up and drop-off service for clients based in Blackwater and the surrounding suburbs. As part as our comprehensive service, our earthmoving fitters provide on-site repairs and servicing at mine sites and farms throughout the region.
